Swiss design studio M&R associates design has presented new interior design of ACJ320neo. Inspired by the images of nature, the designers have relied on selective indirect lighting and the use of natural materials in the decoration.

The tabletops in the open lounge of the business jet and the furniture fronts are decorated with straw marquetry – and such elements pleasantly “bring the surfaces to life”. In order to visually reduce the space taken up by the dining chairs, their backs are made of glossy “mirrored” white carbon.

The characteristic design elements – the mouldings of the side projections and tables – consist of different sections, creating a wave effect, which adds a special rhythm to the whole space. This is echoed by the flowing shapes of the sofa in the living room and the lines of light on the armrests and tabletop of the chest of drawers. A specially designed silk fabric for the aft bulkhead in the dining room, featuring dandelions, reinforces the overall feeling of lightness and airiness. The curved panels as well as the details of the tables and lamps are made with elements of marquetry and metal inlay imitating fish scales. The floor is carpeted with a mix of cropped and looped pile silk and cashmere. As M&R point out, the ACJ range, with its wider cabin compared to other similar private jets, offers a very flexible, modern platform that is exceptionally well suited to creative interior design.
