Dassault Aviation’s new passenger comfort concept, the Falcon Privacy Suite, offers passengers more personal space, more peace and quiet, and ensures a more comfortable and restful sleep during long flights.
Until now, privacy suites – compartments separated from the surrounding passengers and equipped with a power-folding bed have not been available on business jets. The Dassault Privacy Suite is designed to meet this need. The suite will initially be offered on the new Falcon 6X aircraft and the popular three-engine Falcon 8X. According to Dassault Aviation executive vice president of civil aircraft Carlos Branagh, the Privacy Suite, a brand new high-end option that will only be available on Falcon business jets, fully meets customer demand.
The patented Privacy Suite concept is the result of a two-year collaboration between industrial designers from Dassault Falcon Design Studio and Dassault Aviation’s engineering department. It meets the stringent requirements for aircraft seat design, safety, comfort and intuitive use. The cabin is separated from the cabin aisle by an adjustable partition of medium height. The seat itself is 22 inches wide in the Falcon 8X and 24 inches wide in the 6X. It is electrically operated and reclines to a fully horizontal position, creating a comfortable bed that is 80 inches (2.03 m) long. In the half reclined position, the extra seat serves as an ottoman for a second passenger. A 24-inch 4K resolution screen is mounted here, connected to the innovative cabin system and its various entertainment options. A storage box and hanging garment locker are also provided. A side storage compartment includes USB charging ports. The cabin is equipped with its own ambient lighting and reading lamp.
Depending on the model and overall configuration, more than one Privacy Suite can be installed on board one aircraft. As with all Falcon interior elements, customers can choose from a wide range of fabrics and materials when personalizing the unique passenger cabin.
