UAE-based Gama Aviation Sharjah (a subsidiary of Gama Aviation) had a record year last year and plans to make major announcements in the coming months to expand its fleet, which currently consists of over 40 aircraft.

Over the past year, the company has managed to increase traffic by 30% and retain customers using FBO Sharjah as an alternative for flights to Dubai. The fleet operated by Gama Aviation Sharjah ranges from light aircraft to ACJs and BBJs. Last year saw the addition of the Pilatus PC-24, Dassault Falcon 7X and Gulfstream G650 and G280.

The company makes no secret of the fact that the FBO’s main problem in Sharjah is the perception of location. However, once customers cross the threshold of the passenger terminal for the first time, doubts disappear and the proximity to Dubai city centre makes the complex a great alternative to other airports. Gama Aviation Sharjah even has loyal customers in Sharjah who live on Palm Island. “When making their decisions, they take into account the overall journey time: from runway to parking is a matter of minutes, and there are no slot restrictions. This, along with efficient management and the ability to have your own car waiting in the car park, makes Sharjah FBO a fantastic option,” the company says.

In addition to FBO services, Gama Aviation also handles line services including Bombardier Global, Embraer Legacy 600/650, Gulfstream G650 and Bombardier Challenger 604/605. This provides additional peace of mind for both crew and passengers. All the more so as the company has shaded and fully air-conditioned accommodations, which are popular throughout the year.
