Rossinavi BEL1
Rossinavi
The Bel1, launched this spring, is currently undergoing sea trials off Italy’s Ligurian coast, and Rossinavi shipyard has yet to disclose its speed parameters. Yet, one can already appreciate its avant-garde exterior. Its pristine white hull with a vertical bow and a compact silver-graphite superstructure presents a very modern look, while the angled glazing pattern on the sides enhances its sleek silhouette. Though this 49.9-meter yacht is built on a successful 50-meter platform, it stands out from its predecessors as designer Fulvio de Simoni incorporated several innovative architectural elements into the design. For instance, the sundeck has been significantly enlarged to 145 sq. m. A unique “mezzanine” has been added halfway between the main and upper decks, perfect for sunbathing, admiring the wake, and enjoying al fresco dining. The lifting transom and foldable sides at the stern expand the beach club’s space even further.
Kaşif
Bilgin Yachts
Naming the explorer “Kaşif,” which translates to “explorer” from Turkish, is quite symbolic. Designed for voyages to waters not accessible to charter yachts, it offers top-tier comfort even under the toughest conditions. The 42-meter Bilgin 137 model was crafted by Bilgin Yachts’ longstanding partners: Unique Yacht Design handled the exterior and architecture, while Hot Lab designed the interior. For leisure, ten guests can enjoy three decks and a flybridge equipped with an upper helm station, an observation area, and a lounge featuring a dining table, a mini-kitchen, and a bar counter. The expansive stationary stern platform doubles as a swimming spot and a docking area for tenders, and it can also store an inflatable boat or jet ski. The yacht reaches a top speed of 14 knots and can cruise 5,000 nautical miles without refueling, thanks to its 32,000-liter fuel capacity in an economical 10-knot mode.
Majesty 111
Gulf Craft
In this 34-meter hull, designers have literally expanded beyond its dimensions: inside, the Majesty 111 feels larger than it appears from outside. This effect was achieved through skilled design by Gulf Craft of the UAE, which enlisted the Dutch firm Phathom for the task. The firm handled both the yacht’s exterior and interior, which earned the prestigious Best Interior Design award at the World Yachts Trophies competition. Striving for an ideal balance between indoor and outdoor spaces, designers focused on maximizing natural light; the living areas feature 40% more glazing than typical yachts of similar size. Majesty 111 accommodates twelve guests with five suites on the lower deck and a master suite of 15 sq. m. at the front of the main deck. The primary relaxation area is set up top; at the bow, guests will find a pool with sun loungers and a horseshoe-shaped sofa with transformer tables, while an informal sky lounge is situated in the glazed section of the superstructure for shelter from sun or rain.
Pearl 72
Pearl Yachts
Pearl Yachts, a British boutique shipyard, has expanded its fleet with the Pearl 72 model of 21.99 m. Dixon Yacht Design was in charge of both the yacht’s exterior and engineering aspects, with interiors by globally acclaimed British designer Kelly Hoppen. She approached its design as she would a private residence’s interiors, aiming to translate New York’s lifestyle onto water. A distinctive feature of Pearl 72 compared to other yachts in its class is its two master suites. One suite is located at the bow with a separate deck entrance, while the other is traditionally positioned at the center of the hull, spanning its width. Besides these, there are two additional guest suites and a small double cabin for crew members onboard. The stern garage houses a Williams 345 tender, a jet ski, and diving gear.
Evo R+
Evo Yachts
Valerio Rivellini’s designs for Evo Yachts are often described as “maximum minimalism.” The latest Evo R+ model, an 18 m boat, is yet another excellent representation of this style. Its sleek metallic hull features advanced wings and air intakes, complemented by sharply faceted superstructure glazing that conjures images of a space capsule. Beyond its stark masculine allure, the boat features innovative high-tech design elements. For instance, it boasts a foldable stern platform suitable for swimming or quickly launching an inflatable boat or jet ski. Its central part extends backward and dips into the water, allowing for a soft sofa to be set up on the newly formed step for sitting and dangling feet in the water. Twin Volvo Penta engines power the Evo R+ up to speeds of 34 knots.
