When you’re on board the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, the concept of which was created by London studio Winch Design, you don’t feel like you’re in an airplane. The individual Sky Residence project looks more like a superyacht. Which shouldn’t come as a surprise: Andrew Winch’s company specializes in yacht design. The bulkheads were intentionally removed to create the illusion of a more spacious cabin. The sofas in the lounge have a circular layout instead of a regular longitudinal one, with a round dining table in the center of the dining room. A feeling of spaciousness and abundant illumination is also created by using shades of beige and gray-blue. The textures of natural wood and stone bring visual variety to the interior.
