Perfection, quality, luxury, and now a joint exhibition – this is what unites the manufacturer of the legendary Swiss cars Monteverdi and Grand Resort Bad Ragaz. “Monteverdi is an expression of Swiss quality combined with audacity and entrepreneurial spirit – we are delighted to be able to make these treasures available to our guests!” says Grand Hotels CEO Marco R. Zanolari.
Monteverdi AG has become a special chapter in the economic history of Switzerland. Between 1967 and 1982, in Binningen, near Basel, Peter Monteverdi produced luxury cars with his team – the only one in the country. These cars are distinguished by external elegance and luxurious equipment. In total, about 3,000 “Swiss-made” cars were handcrafted in Monteverdi’s workshop. Among Monteverdi’s clients were royals and world celebrities, movie stars. At the same time, the company has always strictly adhered to the principle of confidentiality. Today, Monteverdi brand cars are considered something mysterious, something magical, there are even rumors about the revival of the Swiss car brand.
Until March 6, 2022, the Grand Resort will showcase rare Monteverdi cars at the Bad Ragaz Golf Club.
