The sand sculpture crafted by artist Jim Denevan for the Manar Abu Dhabi light art show has become one of the most significant land art installations. The art piece is made up of 448 pyramids and mounds arranged in 19 concentric circles. It spans nearly 1 square kilometer and stands 27 meters tall. Visitors can ascend two viewing mounds to appreciate the panoramic view, examine the entire layout and the encompassing natural scenery, and ponder on the equilibrium between magnificence and ephemerality. The installation will remain exhibited until the end of January 2024.
