The Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS), the most prestigious exhibition in the Middle East and one of the top events in the global luxury yachting industry, will take place at the end of February.
For five days, from February 19 to 23, visitors will have the chance to attend yacht premieres, ranging from superyachts to small recreational boats, as well as explore luxury items and services related to leisure at sea, and even test drive supercars.
In its thirty years of existence, this yachting rendezvous has transformed from a regional boat show in the United Arab Emirates into an event that is now a must-go for anyone interested in the latest innovations in yacht building and the entire supporting infrastructure. Last year, when the exhibition celebrated its 30th anniversary, it featured 1,000 brands and 400 companies from 55 countries, and forecasts for 2025 predict even higher numbers.
The main stars of the show — the yachts — will be moored at Dubai Harbour marina, which, according to a recently signed agreement, will now serve as the permanent exhibition venue for DIBS. This will help promote the region as a leading destination for maritime tourism, including yacht charters in Dubai. The marina is conveniently located in the heart of the city, with hotels, restaurants, shops, and luxury residential areas within walking distance.
The yacht exhibition at DIBS is designed for 200 berths and can accommodate vessels up to 160 m in length. For those looking to order a custom yacht, purchase a ready-made one, or find a rental option for their vacation, this is the perfect place. All models can be thoroughly explored both outside and inside by stepping aboard.
In 2025, over 30 world premieres are expected, with industry giants such as Sanlorenzo, Feadship, Azimut Yachts, Sunseeker, and Princess Yachts confirming their participation. One of the most significant highlights will be the global debut of the Majesty 100 Terrace yacht. This model, measuring 32.25 m, was designed and built by Gulf Craft Inc., a shipyard that has become the leading yacht manufacturer in the UAE since its founding in 1982. Today, it annually produces around 500 pleasure vessels ranging from 10 to 45 m in length. The main feature of the Majesty 100 Terrace project is the incredibly large outdoor deck space, including a private owner’s terrace at the bow and folding balconies. The interior, featuring rare types of marble, walnut, and brass, is characterized by an abundance of natural light and panoramic views from the master cabin.
The booths featuring maritime technology and equipment (ranging from navigation systems and engines to deck fittings) are designed for professionals. For the general public, numerous pavilions dedicated to the luxurious lifestyle will open their doors. There, exclusive accessories, clothing, and premium services are usually on display, and much of it can be purchased in the Boutique Village. Just like the items you like from the Marine Art Gallery, which features a collection of artworks on the corresponding theme. And, as always, one of the main attractions will be the Supercar Alley — the most powerful cars in the world, including rarities like the Bugatti Chiron and McLaren Speedtail, parked right on the waterfront.
A separate area of the water is designated for water sports enthusiasts — professional athletes will showcase all the latest innovations in this field, from flyboards to water skis, non-stop. The organizers also recommend visiting the Dive MENA center, where the largest regional organization, the Emirates Diving Association, will not only showcase the latest diving equipment and technologies but also hold competitions and underwater games, open to all who wish to participate.
