All travelers arriving in the archipelago are no longer required to present PCR test results, including those who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19. However, before departure from the Maldives, testing is maintained. On March 13, 2022 the Health Protection Agency (HPA) reported about it. Another removed restriction is the abolition of the mandatory quarantine period for incoming tourists, even if they have not been fully vaccinated.
